Apeal Court Judge Kidnapped In Edo
- Police Orderly Dies On The Spot
A Nigerian judge at the Benin Division of the Court of Appeal, Chioma Nwosu has been abducted.
The Judge was kidnapped on Wednesday.
The daredevil kidnappers killed a police officer during the abduction which happened along Benin-Agbon Highway.
The judge was abducted on his way to an assignment.
Premium Times reports that Edo State Police commissioner, Mohammed Danmallam has launched a manhunt for the kidnappers.
According to the Edo State Police Command, the daredevil kidnappers ambushed the judge and his orderly on the highway.
They opened fire and the police orderly was hit and died on the spot.
A photo of the slain police officer posted on social media on Wednesday caused many reactions.
The Police Commissioner appealed to the public to assist the police with information that may lead to Ms Nwosu release and subsequent arrest of the culprits.
