He said Mr Naboya would forever be remembered for practicing politics without bitterness and fostering peace and unity among Edo people during his lifetime.

“With the death of Naboya, Edo State has lost a voice for peaceful coexistence which would be very difficult to fill. He always fought for the common good of all Unemes and would be greatly missed”

Prince Agba, condoled with the Naboya family, the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo North in particular and the Uneme nation in general over the “irreparable” loss and urged them to emulate the great legacies of the deceased.

“We owe it to the memory of the late Chief Naboya to banish all forms of divisive tendencies that trigger ethno-religious crises which put us on the edge and make meaningful development difficult. We all need to do our best to serve God and leave our footprints in all the areas we may find ourselves, he added’’.

Late Chief Naboya, an astute politician and community leader has since been buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
