Members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP were seen in Port Harcourt dressed in various designed uniforms ahead of the national convention of the party.
The members practically took over Port Harcourt and in every corner of the city.
The delegates presence have led to heavy traffic in the street of Port Harcourt and have caused hardship for residents and motorists who are forced to make way for siren-blaring convoys of party chieftains.
While the residents are complaining of the invasion, the hotels’ transportations and other operators are recording huge upturn in their businesses.
Hotel rooms are hardly occupied and even the local eateries popularly known as ‘bukas’ are smiling as sales have increased.
